Aganahaw Island

Baluarte in Lumang-Bayan

The main attraction is the watch tower on top of a hill overlooking the bay. The tower was built by Christians to warn the townspeople of Muslim raiders.

Buyayao Island

Anilao, Bongabong

This is the oldest Spanish fortress in the country, constructed by the Jesuits during the early part of the Spanish occupation. The man-made garrison still maintains the old Spanish cannons and boats.

Mt. Halcon

The third highest point in the country with a height of 8,488 feet above sea level, the place is a favorite among mountaineers, trekkers and other nature lovers. The wild tamaraws still roam in its forests.

Naujan Lake National Park
Thirty eight Kilometers South of Calapan

This 79 sq. km 20 ft. deep lake is the largest lake in the province and the dwelling place of the Mindoro crocodile, banak and simbad. It is now a wildlife sanctuary where hunting and fishing are supervised by the national park people.

Puerto Galera
Puerto Galera is a town destination offering diverse water-based activities to the visitors. It is actually one of the famous destinations among backpacking tourists. The town has many developed sites ranging from those with wide open spaces to the ones that are quite congested of tourist facilities. It has a wide range of coastline and scuba diving is offered in the area.
