Area and Location
Quirino occupies a total land area of 3,057.18 sq. km. The area is approximately 8.4 % of the total regional area and about 1.02% of the total land area of the country. The province is located at the southeastern part of Cagayan Valley .
Geographic Profile
The Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges provides a natural barrier on the eastern and southern border and the Mamparang Range on the western part of the province. The province is generally mountainous. About 80% of the total land area is covered by mountains.

Aglipay Caves
Cabarroguis
A series of 38 caves, seven of which have already been developed for tourism, offering tourists an interesting contact with nature. Located in an area of undulating hills and rich forest preserve, the caves also feature an underground river.

A historic town which got its name from Fr. Gregorio Aglipay, a Philippine Independent Church Priest who rebelled against the Spanish colonizers.
