Dambana ng Kagitingan
Pilar

Also called the Shrine of Valor, this proclaimed National Park consists of a giant cross on top of Mt. Samat symbolizing the bravery of the Fil-American soldiers who fought against the Japanese forces during the Second World War. There is an elevator that leads one to the upper section of the structure where a window afford one the opportunity to see the panorama and the mountains nearby.

Death March Marker
Brgy. Silahis, Orani

The statue commemorates the resistant spirit of Bataan where the historic Death March commenced.

Fall of Bataan Marker
Balanga City

The marker was erected in to commemorate the Fall of Bataan, a very important event in the country's history. It was also built to give honor to the country's veterans, both living and dead who valiantly fought against the Japanese invaders.

Balanga City
A recent addition to the tourist attractions in Bataan. Here one can see thousands of migratory birds that stop-over in the place during their winter migration.

Lamao World War II Marker
Lamao, Limay

The marker was erected in 1962, exactly twenty years after Gen. Edward King signed the papers that signaled the surrender of the whole nation to the Japanese. Today, the marker stands still to commemorate the courage and bravery shown by the Filipinos during the Second World War.

Mt. Malasimbo
Dinalupihan

A conical shaped mountain which is used as a weather forecasting device. A typhoon is said to be coming when the mountain's summit is covered with dark clouds.

Mt. Natib
Brgy. Tala, Orani

An active volcano rising at an elevation of 8,000 ft. above sea level. The site with its abundant wildlife reserve offers a good climb for mountaineers wanting to explore area. Reaching the summit of the volcano takes about four hours.

Mt. Samat
Pilar

Mt. Samat was the scene of the most heroic defensive battle during World War II in 1942 where the Fil-American forces were defeated by the Japanese. This is also where the Dambana ng Kagitingan is built.

Zero Kilometer Marker
Bagac

The marker commemorates the start of the infamous Death March that also marks the beginning of Japanese control over the country.
